OVERVIEW:
The boat is a 24' 1000 Island, Search & Rescue Model, It is one of the most innovative and versatile boats on the market, It is designed specifically to operate on the water and ice, it will exceed your expectations in any environment, Reach your cottage or enjoy the water all year round, the boat transitions smoothly between water, ice, and land, moves along at 70 MPH on the water and 90 MPH on ice, It handles great on both surfaces and includes a hydraulic brake for speed control when operating on the ice, With a beam width of 7'6" it outperforms other boats in rougher open water, Designed to tackle all conditions, all year round, there is never a need to store this boat for a season.
ENGINE & FEATURES:
The engine is a Big Block 502 V8 that has nearly 500 HP and uses a Air Boat CH-2 drive, Franklin 2-1 gear reduction, spinning a Whirlwind AB 4 blade composite propeller to move the boat, The motor only has 45 hours on it, With a 28 gallon tank, you can operate all day without having to refuel, The dual fiberglass rudders steer the fiberglass 6 Stringer with recessed polymer panels on sides and bottom hull instantaneously, The turning radius on this boat is superior to any other boat of this length, The interior is designed to seat 10 people and those passengers are protected by a steel cage and canopy, There is more deck space for transporting people or equipment than one needs.
EQUIPMENT:
This Search & Rescue Model has a ton of extras that includes 4, 200,000 candle power directional lights, night time running lights, cabin heat, intercom system, VHF radio, outboard hoist with electric winch, rescue backboard, 4 X headsets with mic's, remote spot lights, windshield wipers and much more.
TRAILER:
The trailer is a titled custom built torsion bar trailer with two 3500 lb axles and 2" ball, Includes battery and electric winch for getting the boat easily on and off the trailer.
