Looking for a project that's doable before the start of the boating season ?
I am unable to undertake the limited refitting needed to get this deserving vessel back on the water.
Because this boat is a classic and the only one available on the west coast it will turn heads on the water.
Consider the following project estimates.
Needs paint top and bottom. @ $5,000
Brightwork restoration @ $1,200
Mast Refinish @ $400
Total $6,600
Incidental & overage $1,400
Total Budget $8,000 + $18,000 Acquisition = $26,000!
Compare to comps at $28,000 to $32,000 for similar well equipped and outfitted vessels!
Engine Running with Less than 1200 hours
Non Skid in good condition
Rigging Good
Sails New and Unused
Tons of equipment included
The Seabreeze 35 is classic keel-centerboard designed by MacLear & Harris in 1962 and built by the Allied Boat Company in Catskill, New York.
Inspired by the famous Sparkman and Stevens designed "Finister" that won Newport to Bermuda three times, the Seabreeze is known for its sailing ability and blue water potential.
Rigged as a sloop, yawl, or ketch the classic lines of the Seabreeze make her stand out on any waters.
Due to her retractable centerboard she is capable of safely traversing shoal waters and enjoying anchorages impossible for boats of deeper drafts while having the advantage of full draft to windward.
A total of 135 of these special boats were made, the final three hulls #133, #134 & #135 completed in 1972.

A well-maintained Seabreeze makes a strong and, for its length, spacious cruising yacht.
While most of the Association members cruise home waters and the Caribbean, ASOA secretary E.M.
Reardon often hears of a Seabreeze as far away as the Pacific.
The prices today vary between $28,000 and $35,000 better than a fair deal for a yacht that can sail safely around the world.
Located in San Diego, the only known Seabreeze for sale on the west coast, "Hongi" is available with choice of topside color and fresh bottom paint to suit her new owner.
