It is ready to sail immediately, with no further work required.
This sailboat is easy to sail, even for a beginner.
It is the first boat I've owned.
After a few excursions with more experienced sailors, I have been able to go out with just my 12 year old son, even in 15 knot winds.
The sails are in good condition, and the roll furling jib makes it easy to rig.
The mechanical power comes from a Yanmar 12 hp diesel engine.
The cabin appointments and navigation and emergency equipment are all fully functional.
Length is 26.3 ft, Breadth is 10.0, Depth is 5.1ft.
Gross tonnage of 6 GRT.
The cabin sleeps five and the toilet mechanism was recently replaced.
The boat also comes with a cradle in the Shelburne shipyard for winter storage.
I had high hopes that I would be sailing this 26' C&C for years to come, but we are not able to use it as much as I'd like.
I hope that someone else can take better advantage of what this boat has to offer.
