Boat is at
Crooked River Ranch, Terrebonne, Oregon.
25 foot Catalina Sailboat for sale.
I have a 25 foot Catalina, a wing keel shallow draft 1987 model, which has just returned from a 400 mile plus cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Key West.
The boat has solar panels that generate 200 watts, a wind generator rated at 450 watts, a new Garmin chart plotter and depth sounder fish finder.
There is a 110 volt shore power cable that also charges the on board battery bank, two new 12 volt deep cycle marine batteries.
The shore power, wind generator, and solar panels all have interactive voltage and charge controllers that work to keep the batteries fully charged without overcharging them.
The
lighting and electrical systems all work.
There is 21 gallons of on board water storage, a marine head that either empties into the sea or the on board holding tank.
There is a brand new ship to shore horizon VHF radio and antenna, and a very decent 8 horsepower motor to get you in and out of the harbor.
The cabin is the pop top style that more than doubles the standing headroom in the main cabin at days end.
The boat comes ready to sail with with a new 150 Genoa on a roller furler up front, a slab reefing main sail, a spare Jib sail set up to fly on the roller furler, and a new asymmetrical cruising Spinnaker with it’s own control sock.
There is an onboard icebox and a small 12 volt refrigerator.
This boat was designed as a weekender or
day tripper, but with the present modifications including a new tiller mounted auto pilot that can hold you on course all day and night, you can stay out as long as your food and water last.
The boat could even be considered a compact live-aboard.
The cabin is currently configured with a standard sized double berth in the main portion of the cabin, but can be configured as a dinette with seating for 4-6.
There is an 8 foot Zodiac inflatable dinghy with it’s own 8 horse power motor to let you anchor out and scoot in and out of the dock.
The boat normally resides on its own trailer, which is included in the sale, so can go anywhere and set up in a short while.
The boat has just had new anti-fouling bottom paint, the exterior wood in the
cockpit has just been refinished, and the trailer has just been repainted.
