Boat is located in Richmond,California. Please contact the owner @ 415-310-0237 or Diegoanthony63@gmail.com...Hello; for sale is a Columbia 36 sailing sloop.

This boat has an all fiberglass hull built in 1969, so it is very solid, and has always received great care and is in excellent shape.

The boat was designed by Bill Crealock who designed the Pacific Sea Craft 36, and this boat's hull design is very similar to the pacific sea craft's, making it a swift, yet very stable ocean going hull.

I have also made many upgrades including a new Beta Marine 25 hp Diesel (Maronized Kubota diesel) that now has only 146 hrs; new UK sails in 2006; high quality dodger made by Cover Craft; solar panel mounted atop the dodger; low profile anchor windlass, bow roller and plow anchor; stainless steel low profile mast steps; Radar; depth sounder; new VHF radio with emergency beacon; beautiful custom cabinets throughout; propane cabin heater; just replaced (Jan 2016) aft quarter berth mattresses & all waste hoses in head, and installed new heavy duty Jansco Y-valve.

The boat also has a sail-o-mat windvane self-steering system which is pure awesomeness.

If you are unfamiliar with sail-o-mat, here is a link to their web-site: http://www.sailomat.com/ I have attached several photos for your convenience.

I also had all old bottom paint removed down to the gel coat in 2010, and then 5 coats of new epoxy primer and 3 new coats of bottom paint.

The bottom is in mint condition.

There has never been a blister, delamination, or other flaw.

The bottom was last painted summer 2014, and a diver scrubs the hull every other month so the bottom is in excellent condition.

The boat also comes with a second smaller mainsail, smaller jib, storm sail, and parachute sea anchor.

This boat is equipped and ready to go anywhere in the world, now.

The boat is set up for very easy single hand sailing with a custom bench at helm that allows one to remain at helm and easily slide from side to side to reach the after market Barlow 28 two-speed winches which are larger than original winches.

The traveler is aft of helm and also reachable while seated at helm.

All of this makes the boat ready to cross an ocean now, while also being a great day-sailor for the bay as it is set up extremely well for single-hand sailing.

I really do not want to sell this boat, but my work has me moving out of state.

If you are interested in receiving more information about this boat, or coming to look at it, or even go out for a test sail I would be happy to hear from you.

Thanks for looking.
