A major overhaul and up grade have taken place over the last year. this boat had been stored in a open steel building for approximately five years sitting on a new boat trailer, close to lake Erie.
After a complete
pressure wash down inside and out, every thing from the waterline down including the rudder was sanded down.
A list of the following was done. 1.
Four thru hulls were removed and fiberglassed out. 2.
The rudder was fiberglass with several layers. 3.
The main hulls fin lower edge fiberglass build up a weakness on most Ericson just to be on the safe side. 4.
Atomic four gas engine removed and cleaned fuel tanks. 5.
Installed new Yanmar 2ym15 diesel engine with complete control package, 6, New water lift muffler and exhaust pipe. 7.
New raw water inlet main engine with strainer and valve. 8.
New engine shift cable.
9.
New main engine fuel lines and fuel filter Racor. 10.
New on deck fresh water inlet all new hoses.
And doubled the fresh water storage to 30 gallons. 11.
New fresh water 12 volt pump, 12.
New bilge pump.
13.
New waste water pump for gallery. 14.
Relocated new 12 volt battery switch 15, Relocated 12 volt battery storage area. 16.
New cutlass bearing and new bronze prop 12 x 12. 17.
New macerator pump
on head. 18.
Installed two new stainless steel portholes for better ventilation. 18.
New folding door on head. 20.
New step to V berth. 21.
New two burner LP cook top and two 11 pound tanks LP externally mounted, 22.
New helm compass. 23.
Installed new belt and pull wheel for auto pilot. 24. built 12 volt docking station for phones and computers. 25.
Installed new 12 volt cooler (beer). 26.
New 12 volt switch panel. 27.
There are two look like new sails, one West Marine VH 500 radio like new, one Garmin GPS map chart plotting receiver that works like new, one new Garmin depth sounder There also is a matching
sail cover and a cock pit awning cover that matches the boat hull color.
The boat is pretty much equipped to go sailing. lots of lines, life jackets.
Bring your own knives and forks and pots and pans.
We took the boat down to Lee county last November, set the mast, launched and too off motoring to break in the engine, everything okay.
We lived aboard for six weeks, we accumulated 50 hours on the tack, but the weather would not give us a break.
The trailer now has 2,500 miles on it and four new tires, plus a storage deck.
