Boat is in Bellevue, Washington. 1936 Classic Yacht Inc Custom Cruiser, Custom Classic 1936 Friendship II / $25,500 The Friendship II is seeking a new custodian to care for her during her next 79 years of existence.
She was built in 1936 at the Fremont Boat market by Doc Freeman.
Docs brother-in-law designed and built the cabin that features spectacular mahogany cabinetry and woodwork throughout.
It is speculated that the hull was designed by Ed Monk, Sr.
She features two roomy salons with large windows and adequate head room.
A survey completed in 2012 estimates a fair market value of $37,500.Length: 32.2 LOA: 36 Breadth: 9.7 Draft: 3.6 CONSTRUCTION: Hull Planking: Carvel planked construction.
Planks are Red cedar.
Fasteners: Refastened in 2006 with silicon bronze screws, #12 x 2 & #12 x 2.
Frames: White Oak, 1 1/2 x 1 3/4, steam bent, on 10 centers.
Engine: Model: Chrysler Crown RM 7 HP: 115 RPM: 3200Engine Type: Inboard Engine/Fuel Type: Gas/Petro.

Cruising Speed: 7.5 kts Fuel Consumption: 4 GPH @ 7.5 Knots.
This is a fresh water cooled motor recently rebuilt by Peter Orton known as one of the best mechanics in the marine business.
