This Maple Leaf yacht was ordered and built by Cooper Yachts in North Vancouver under the name Caramia in 1982.
I'm selling this boat to purchase my retirement home in Washington, and going ashore.
Being a boater since 1971, I know what the right equipment is, and did this boat right.
I have already renovated a 78' Burger and a 52' Derecktor, and have owned a total of 15 boats in my lifetime.
Here is what I've done to the boat since Summer, 2015:
New $10,400 Garmin 6400 Series GPS with Radar.
Existing Garmin Autopilot
New 4,000 Watt Sinewave Inverter
All New wiring and LED lighting throughout the boat, including proper breakers and new electric panel.
Hired Master Marine Electrician at $60/hour for 18 weeks
12 New Trojan batteries forming 24 Volt system.
Go for several days on power without starting engines.
2 New 12 volt batteries for cranking and electronics
New water pump, New washdown pump, New Hot Water Heater
All new port holes and 5 new windows in boat
All wood refinished outside, total teak interior inside
Newly reconditioned windlass with 100' chain and 200' heave rode
All sails have great life and spent $2,000 reconditioning, New UV protection, New burgundy canvas on main, grill cover, winch covers and aft anchor spool cover.
Sails are on furling systems.
New carpet dark brown carpet throughout that matches interior, all curtains resized and placed on aluminum rods
New wind instrument at top of mast, mast cleaned top to bottom

Two diesel heaters; Alaska stove in salon, Dickinson in Master Head
Ample galley with gas stove, pantry.

Double and single in Master, huge V-Berth forward, and salon table can be converted to make another single bed
Enclosed Pilot House with new plexiglass window in T-top that slides open on sunny days.
You can sail this boat in your pajamas and stay warm and dry.
Pilot house has bench that converts to dining table, and also converts to double sleeper.
This makes sleeping for total of 7 people, 8 with salon.
Bowthruster makes docking a dream
Single Nissan 75hp diesel with 2,100 hours.
Bullet proof engine and has been all tuned up, new belts, new 24 volt alternator and 12 volt alternator.
Burns 1gph at 7+ knots.
Best sea-keeping and sleeping boat I've ever owned! 16 tons and stout!
7.5' Draft and has 1" thick steal plate running fore and aft with 5' long lead bars through-bolted at bottom of plate.
Boat is a tank.
Master head has tub and shower nozzle.
Forward head has shower.
Stand-up engine room with work bench.
Very easy to work on.
Has convenient oil pump out system for changing oil.
360 degree viewing from pilot house that seats 6-7 people.
200 gallon fuel capacity, 200 gallon water capacity.
Hull looks great and did cut polish work on it 2015.
All zincs and bottom paint good.
Boat was pulled Summer, 2015.
U.S.C.G.
Certificate good through March 31, 2017 under name Freedom Won, and has been properly imported into the U.S.
Boat presently in Gorge Harbor Resort on Cortes Island in BC and has pleasure craft license numbers in Canada, which is a free registration.
Boat en route to La Conner, WA and has slip in Port of Skagit.
Nice desk/work space, salon has seated up to 9 comfortably.
44' long overall with sugar scoop transom, 13' beam.
Stainless steel davits for dinghy or stacked kayaks (no dinghy onboard)
