Boat Location: Northeast Harbor, Maine.
This is a professionally restored - 8 month restoration- 1955 canvas 14' Old Town powerboat.
It includes boat, 9.9 Yamaha 4-stroke engine with only 52 hours, galvanized "EZ Loader" trailer, and a pair of custom Shaw Tenney oars.
The boat was originally manufactured and delivered on 28 May 1955 to its owner, president of the Bangor
Daily News.
This boat is constructed of canvas over cedar planking over ash ribs.
The bow quarterdeck, open gunnels, seats, stern tool drawer and transom are solid
mahogany.
Accessories include original floor boards, 2-3gal portable gas tanks, brass fittings, navigation lights, battery and painters.
This boat has always been
stored in a garage on its trailer when not in water.
This 14' Old Town makes a perfect lake boat for fishing or recreation and has to be seen to be fully
appreciated.
