Boat Location: Wahweap Marina, Lake Powell, Arizona.
This 2004 luxury Sumerset houseboat is a one-owner boat which was built to our specs and delivered by Sumerset to us at Lake Powell.
The sellers are a Sr-citizen couple who have thoroughly enjoyed this boat but recognize that it is time for a new owner/family to enjoy it also.
Time marches on.
The boat is in
excellent condition and is ready for another great season on Lake Powell.
Sleeping beds are a king-size, 2-queen size and one twin.
The cuddy cabin has the twin and queen-size bed.
The boat is all electric the kitchen area is fully equipped.
The entertainment center houses the TV and DVD/CD and VHS players.
The generator is a
Westerbeke 12.5Kw with less than 300hrs on the meter.
The V-6 motors have just over 100hrs on the hour meters.
The front and rear decks feature shade screens and rope
lighting.
The inverter battery bank compartment is built into the floor of the front deck.
Ceiling fans are in the living areas inside and outside the boat as well as on the 24'long by 15'wide fibreglass hardtop on the upper deck.
The boat is well equipped with shore anchors, fenders, shore-lines and lines to secure the houseboat in a slip.
A great feature is two 12volt electric winches on the rear deck which greatly facilitates securing the houseboat when out on the lake.
A queen size hide-a-bed is in the main salon and a LA-Z-Boy swivel recliner/rocker.
Cabinetry
throughout the houseboat is light oak.
The dining area has a 42" solid oak table with two leaves and four swivel arm chairs.
There is a dry-bar buffet with glass
mullion doors above and indirect lighting.
The kitchen has an island food/beverage prep center with sliding shelves below.
There is a smooth-top electric 30" range and a 22.5 cu.ft AMANA/Kenmore bottom-freezer/refrigerator as well as a microwave oven.
All sinks are porcelain with polished Delta faucets.
The two bathrooms have marine heads, solid counter tops, vanity mirrors and built-in hair dryers.
The largest
bathroom features the walk-in fibreglass shower with a built-in seat and towel holders on the glass doors.
The houseboat is kept very comfortable with HVAC
equipment2 units by CruiseAire.
There are two 20gal electric hot water heaters.
On the upper deck is the full featured helm station, the fibreglass hard-top, a radar arch with VHF antenna and satellite dish with a rotator and a heavy-duty davit for PWC's.
Sumerset developed and patented the unique generator exhaust system to the open atmosphere.
The rear deck has twin full height storage cabinets with locks and
electric outlets, three huge power-lift hatches with steps into the engine/generator area, rope lighting as well as a boarding ladder for entry to the lake water.
There are two 100gal fuel tanks.
The houseboat has the upgraded insulation package, dual-pane windows and doors and fenders and lines in abundance.
In 2008 the MSRP on
this model houseboat was over 300,000.
We really have enjoyed our houseboat but it is time for us to move on.
